I’ve bought bad shoes before. Really bad shoes. Shoes that looked cool online but felt like walking on cereal boxes. Shoes that lasted maybe two hikes before falling apart.
But there’s one pair — ONE — that I don’t regret buying.
They’re not expensive. They’re not trendy. They’re not marketed by some influencer with a perfect jawline.
They’re just good.
Why I like them:
✓ Light
Feels like wearing nothing.
✓ Actually comfortable
Even on days I accidentally walk 20,000 steps.
✓ Dry fast
This is extremely important when you hike in the Pacific Northwest where the sky cries randomly.
✓ Grippy without being bulky
Perfect for wet boardwalks, muddy patches, or slippery rocks.
Where they fall short:
✗ Not great for snow
But then again… what lightweight shoe is?
✗ The color options kinda suck
Mine look like “dad shoes,” which I’ve accepted.
Would I recommend them?
100% yes — especially if you like walking everywhere on your trips and don’t want your feet to scream at night.
