• Complete the Sound to Olympics section of the Washington Cross-State Trails

• Create links with public transit to provide alternatives to driving

• Develop safe bike/pedestrian routes and connectivity in North Kitsap

• Improve shoreline access and paddle launch sites for water trails

• Preserve open spaces to protect wildlife habitat and habitat corridors 

• Improve handicap access to your open spaces

• Demonstrate the ongoing support of our community and citizens when pursuing grants and outside funding

• Encourage active, healthy lifestyles for all ages and abilities

• Promote development of the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails

• Provide recreation opportunities for residents and visitors

• Enhance economic opportunities to grow local eco-tourism businesses

• Add horse trails and parking lots

• Shape a legacy of outdoor connections for our children and future generations
