 - Grants, Volunteers & Donations To Complete
New Trail In NK Heritage Park -

The NK Heritage Park Stewardship Group, NKTA and volunteers from Aspect Consulting LLC, will team up later this summer to build a boardwalk to reroute the trail cross the wetland near the parking lot at Miller Bay Road. It will complete the Boundary Trail, creating a loop with the Spine Line Trail. Grants from Puget Sound Energy ($3,000) and the Suquamish Tribe ($2,000), combined with $500 from the Kingston Rotary, will fund the purchase of materials. This will be the second year that Aspect Consulting employees have done a major project in the park. Park steward Dave Haley is coordinating the project. Thanks to all the volunteers and donors that will help make this happen!
