Here is what your donation will help us achieve:

• Complete the Sound to Olympics (STO) section of the Washington Cross-State Trails and the Great American Rail Trail from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

• Create non-motorized links with public transit to provide alternatives to driving automobiles.

• Develop local safe & connective bike/pedestrian routes.

• Promote the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails by improving shoreline water-trail access & paddle launch sites.

• Create "linear parks" with trails that connect communities, parks & open space, thereby allowing for contiguous habitat corridors to preserve & protect wildlife habitat. 

• Improve handicap access to natural open spaces.

• Demonstrate the ongoing support of our community and citizens when pursuing grants and outside funding.

• Encourage active, healthy lifestyles for all ages and abilities.

• Provide recreation opportunities for residents and visitors.

• Enhance economic opportunities to grow local eco-tourism businesses & cottage industry in our rural areas.

• Add horse trailheads and parking lots accommodations.

• Be a part of the solution that will shape a legacy of outdoor lifestyle for our children and future generations.
