We have had a series of committees depending on the current projects. We also have events, trail construction work days at the North Kitsap Heritage Park and lots of public outreach. NKTA Committees:

Trail building and maintenance (Plan & execute trail construction consistent w/ plan, determine route details & access, enlist volunteers)

Membership (Maintain list of members, track membership status, promote membership and participation)

Communications (Coordinate communication through website, newletter, press releases, brochures & execute communications plan)

Liason (Coordinate w/ local governments, pearl communities, state and regional organizations. Monitor County-wide non-motorized planning)

Events/Fundraising (Support existing fundraisers, create and execute funding strategy including events and grant applications)

Sound to Olympics Trail (Plan for development of S.T.O. and connection w/ regional trails)

Water Trails (Plan and establish water trails consistent with trail plan, support water trail events)

Executive (Elected officers-plans agendas, prioritizes matters for discussion & makes recommendations to the Board)

Nominating (Board members & officers- makes officer and director recommendations)
